During the fast, you commit to prayer, financial reflection, and avoiding unnecessary spending, focusing instead on contentment, stewardship, and financial growth. Before beginning the fast, ask God to guide your heart, mind, and actions as you
commit to this financial journey. Pray for clarity, discipline, and wisdom in your
financial decisions.
Outline clear financial goals for the fast—whether it's to save a specific amount,
break free from debt, invest in your future, or change spending habits. Write them
down as a form of commitment.
Don’t do the Fast alone. Invite family members to join you or get a group of

Day 1: Commit to No Unnecessary Spending
Scripture: "Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income." (Ecclesiastes 5:10)
Day 2: Pray for Financial Healing
Scripture: "The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing." (Psalm 23:1)
Day 3: Do a Personal Financial Checkup
Scripture: "The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance." (Proverbs 21:5)
Day 4: Practice Contentment
Scripture: "But godliness with contentment is great gain." (1 Timothy 6:6)
Day 5: Fast from Unnecessary Purchases

Day 6: Seek God’s Purpose for Your Wealth
